The theme of Earth Day 2022 is to “Invest in our planet”.
Earth is the only planet in solar system which has water, soil, air and life. To celebrate world earth day on 22nd April 2022, Birla Institute of Technolgy, Mesra, Jaipur Campus has organized various online events such as poster making, poetry, environmental quiz, literary talk, your green sight and also offline events such as rangoli and plantation from 19th April 2022 to 22nd April 2022.
These all were based on different themes such as Save environment, Panchtatva, Pollution free environment, A beautiful world starts with you, Earth day and Go green.
This special day has been celebrated to make people aware about the importance to save the earth from pollution, global warming, water scarcity and other crisis.
Students have shown their keen interest in world earth day celebration by participating in various events. A good message has been conveyed in our society that everyone should protect the earth and environment from pollution and other harmful activities by taking some environmental protective measures.
