Birla Institute of Technology’s (BIT) Kolkata Campus was established in 1995. Having been in the academic arena for more than a decade now, this Centre offers academic programmes in two streams, namely: Computer Applications and Business Management. The college campus was shifted finally to Kasba on the south-eastern part of the city, after its presence in many areas of Kolkata. The Kasba Centre is well connected to the rest of Kolkata. The campus includes a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, a well-equipped library and other up-to-date academic infrastructure.
