Aptitude
Test for B. Arch:
Candidates who wish to join the B. Arch
course must qualify in an Aptitude Test in Architecture
before their applications are further processed for
admission.They should contact the Head, Department of
Architecture for the syllabus, date and other details of the
Aptitude Test on
architecture@bitmesra.ac.in "
For all
undergraduate programmes the
common requirements are:
1.
Pass in all subjects in Class 10 or equivalent with minimum 60%.
Marks to be calculated by taking the sum of the marks obtained
in all the papers in which the candidate has appeared in the
Class 10 or equivalent examination.
2.
Pass in all subjects at Class 12 or equivalent
3.
Minimum 60% marks in Class 12 as an average of best 5 subjects.
* The
MBA programme is a 2-year (6-trimester) programme and the fees
cited are to be paid per trimester. All other fees are to be
paid per semester.
a) Hostel facilities
are available only at the Main campus at Mesra, Ranchi, and the
fees indicated for Mesra are inclusive of Hostel
Room Rent.
b)
Fees
indicated for the Extension Centres are exclusive of Hostel Room
Rent. Hostel accommodation is not provided at Extension Centres,
and students admitted at
Extension
Centres must
make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging
c)
There would be a remission of 15% in fees, rounded off to the
nearest 100 USD, for students who are citizens of member states
of SAARC - Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri
Lanka – on showing appropriate proof of citizenship
d)
All charges and fees to be paid by crossed Demand Draft in
favour of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra payable at
Ranchi. For procedures of making online payments after
admission, please contact Comptroller, Birla Institute of
Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, on 91-651-2275808.
Cost of NRI/SFFS
Brochure: 20 USD by Demand Draft if requested by post, and
10 USD/INR 500 if collected by hand. Form may also be downloaded
and printed from website
Application Fee:
100 USD by Demand Draft with completed form provided with
Brochure, or 110 USD with form downloaded from website.
All charges and fees
to be paid by crossed Demand Draft payable to Birla Institute
of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
The last date for receipt of completed forms is June 30th
